I live with my family on the edge of Olympic National Park, a place too beautiful to describe. We have adopted two kids who are in grade school. We also have foster kids on a temporary basis. I retired a few years ago and am a great year playing with my doll collection, quilting, traveling, and doing stuff with the kids. We also have a beach house at Ocean Shores and love being there.
In this blog I plan to share about a variety of things, and hope to connect with others with similar interests.
Mom, your blog is fantastic. I like the design of it — it looks so much like you! I like the variety of topics you cover. I love the pictures. It will be a fun way to be connected. I”m glad you are doing it!
Thanks for your comments Robin, you can sign up to follow the blog and you will be notified each time I add something—I think, but actually this whole thing is pretty new for me.
That granddaughter Susie has always been special, and her 35 acts of random kindness brought tears of joy.
Mom, I think your blog is great! I like the picture of you that describes where you live. You have posted a lot of fun subjects. I really like the one you added about Susie. She may want to check out your blog to see how famous she is! Looking forward to reading more.
I am glad you like the blog. Susie has seen it and it certainly has gotten a lot of comments.
What a fun blog! I know nothing about doing this, but really enjoyed the info about Susie and her inspiring Random Acts, as well as the quilting stuff; it makes me head for the sewing machine :).
Hi Pat, thanks. It seems like there is so much happening, this would be a good way to keep track, better than a diary!
Merrily, I am driving to Sequim tomorrow and will be there until Saturday. Do you have any time to meet and maybe do lunch? I’d love to meet you face to face instead of just blog to blog 🙂
Merrily, you are always in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep me informed as to how you are and how Nyima is. With both of you having health issues, my concern in always there and my worry is that I might not learn of something I would want to know about and keep in my prayers. Hugs to you dear, dear friend.
